When innocence is met with malevolence

There are two kinds of love

“Starting a family was unexpected and happened so quickly.

Still I was excited to have a child because I was in love, or so I thought.

I don’t regret having my children, but I do regret not waiting for the right man to be their father.”

“The pleasure of love lasts but a moment. The pain of love lasts a lifetime”

– Bette Davis

THE GOOD AND THE BAD

Loving Children

Becoming a parent has brought meaning to life watching them grow.

Broken Family

A faltering relationship can leave behind a broken family filled with disarray and contempt.

Taking life one step at a time

Rebuilding a family is a process that won’t happen overnight. Perseverance has been crucial over the last two years for us as each day has been a battle of it’s own. Still we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and are willing to tell our story as we continue to move forward. That said, it is sad when a father stoops as low as using his child as a weapon. No matter the circumstances when dealing with such ‘so called’ fathers there will always be another excuse or threat around the corner. That is why young women should take action as soon as possible in order to stand up for themselves and their children.

Milestones

Our family story is a work in progress, but there is so much to say about what we have gone through that the motivation to get it all done has never been stronger. Soon a timeline will be posted to this site as well as the story of our son Jayden and his disability. He is only two years old with a condition called Holoprosencephaly.
